Summary[]
Sam's first broadcast as a temporary host of the Advice and Community Segment. He reassures listeners that although Madame Marie and the Loyal Assistants are gone, he's sure that there is a reasonable explanation, or that it is mostly likely an elaborate practical joke. Sam reads a letter supposedly left behind by the Loyal Assistants, and states that he tried to phone the hospitals to ask about Marie, but had no luck.
Sam reads the augury forecast and answers an anonymous letter with advice that Marie had left. He then further debunks the idea that Marie was in danger during the last episode and moves swiftly onto reminding the Listeners to schedule in their communing times to keep the lines clear.
He finds a business card with the same design as the one sent with Marie's 'imminent loss' bouquet. The note has the message 'They are coming' and is signed 'O', which Sam presumes stands for Oliver. After this, Sam lightly confesses his lack of spiritual ability, and signs off for the night.
